Welcome to The Brown Soul Project - The ultimate destination for Real Tex-Mex Music. The Brown Soul Project consist of an 8 member band including a horn section and a traditional Tex-Mex Accordion player. The Brown Soul Project's main goal is to keep Tex-Mex music alive and going throughout the Bay Area and beyond !! All of the members in the band agree that it is because of our Grandparents and Parents that we have Brown Soul within all of us. Growing up listening to musical pioneers such as Freddy Fender, Little Joe y La Familia, Jay Perez, Ramon Ayala and more is the reason we are here today to take you back in time when music was music. The Brown Soul Project will play music from those legends but also play music from recent Tejano and Tejana Artist such as Shelly Lares, Stephanie Montiel and of course the Queen of Tejano, Selena. So put on your cowboy hats and boots and get ready to hit the dance floor !!!
